Serenity Stables is a multi-breed, multi-discipline training stable. Almost every breed imaginable has been successfully trained at Serenity Stables—all the common breeds and most of the many rare ones. Saddlebreds, Quarter-Horses, Andalusians, Warnbloods, Miniature Horses, Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Fresians, Pomies, Gypsy Vanner, Alke-Teke, Fjords, Halfingers, gaited breeds—Paso Fino, Peruvian Paso’s, Walking Horses, Fox Trotters, Donkeys, mules, etc—have all found their home here. The “Fundamental Principles of Horse Training Psychology” provide the solid basis for teaching virtually anything the horse can learn—Dressage, Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, Western, Driving, Trail, Gaiting, Tricks. Problem horses routinely come to Serenity Stables for rehabilitation cures. We are also famous for starting horses under saddle (or in the cart) very solidly. For riding and driving, the principles of Classical Dressage are used in addition to the “Fundamental Principles.”
